I like this.

I'm eager to take pictures that capture us as we are, take us back to a time, and remind us of what we were feeling and thinking at that time. My friend Joy suggested I check out an Australian photographer's blog who might help me feel free to do this. He and his wife just had a baby, and the baby's birth story was a few entries down from the top. It is rather long, and I passed it the other night but made a mental note to come back and read it when I had a quiet moment. So on our way to the Carolinas for vacation, after a traffic jam, during a Maggie frustration session, and with Toy Story 3 in front of my face, I decided I needed to have my quiet moment. It was really wonderful. It made me cry. I'm now pecking this blog out on my iPhone. The other hand Maggie is insisting she hold, but I really like this blog so check it out.
